Welcome to The 13th Fret. This site is dedicated to the acoustic guitar
and all things related. Our discussion forum is unlike any other. We showcase a
different acoustic guitarist every month. The Fret has hundreds of links to
various acoustic guitar resources. We offer our members a community environment.
You will find many interesting articles on the construction of acoustic guitars
in our articles section and our links sections. Our forum is frequented and
sponsored by some of the world's finest guitar shops and luthiers as well as
some of the top experts in acoustic guitar construction, repair and
amplification. These folks are more than willing to answer any questions you may
have. This is the spirit of The Fret - the sharing of information.
The most important aspect of The 13th Fret is it's members and those
folks who stop by for visits. They are such a diverse bunch that you'll probably
find someone here who has the same musical interests as yourself. Many friends
have been made here on The Fret and we hope that many more will be as well.
In the coming months, we will be migrating the Fret to a new server & platform. As new technologies exist to make this a more robust and interactive forum, we plan to take advantage of all the technologies to make this a more user friendly and organic forum. Users will be able to social network, post photo albums to share, form your own group chats, instant messaging, share music and so much more. We appreciate your patience during this transition. We promise so much more than a new logo & colors. We just need the time to research and implement the new direction properly without losing continuity & the original idea of community, not to mention the data. We wish to offer our condolences to Annetta Glick, the entire Glick
family & friends.
Richard was a good friend, a supporter, and a serious guitar enthusiast.
His passion touched everyone's lives he came into contact with.
He was deeply loved and will be missed.
We sure hope there's great guitars in Heaven. And if not Rick will
make it so.
